The Queensland Government has activated a Tourism and Hospitality Sector COVID-19 Lockdown Support Package to help business and industry who are dealing with the effects of lockdowns due to COVID-19 (coronavirus). This means:
  • if your liquor licence was issued prior to 1/7/2021, you do not need to pay the annual liquor licence fees for the 2021/2022 licence fee period; and
  • if you have already paid these fees, you will receive a refund automatically. You do not need to request a refund.
And
  • From 10 August 2021 to 30 June 2022, application fees for a change in trading hours or a change of licensed area will be waived for liquor licensees.
Please note that if you have received a notice to pay a pro-rata annual licence fee amount, this must be paid and can be paid by logging in to your account.
