The Queensland Government has activated an immediate industry recovery package to help local government, business and industry who are dealing with the effects of COVID-19 (coronavirus). From 1 February to 31 July 2020, liquor licensees will benefit from having fees waived for applications to change trading hours and temporarily or permanently change a licensed area.
Public Registers
The liquor and gaming machine licence applications register lists the following:
- advertised liquor licence and adult entertainment permit applications currently being published for objections or submissions
- advertised gaming applications currently being published for community comment
- pending gaming machine licence applications
- recently approved (within the last 8 weeks) liquor and gaming machine licence applications.

Public information of premises with an approved liquor licence can be found in the Liquor licence search.
Search Tips
If you can't find what you're looking for, try broadening the search criteria:
- Enter fewer search fields e.g. select only the Application Status
- Try using a partial word search on the Site Name e.g. "RSL" or "Returned"
Note: Some sites use the full name e.g. "Returned & Service League..."
Results
- Advertised Liquor & Gaming applications also appear in the Pending list.
- For Liquor - Name Change of Premises (Approved), the search checks both the old and new site names.
